Robin Sumner, MPAS, PA-C
Robin Sumner, MPAS, PA-C, is a board-certified physician assistant with 27 years of medical experience. Born and raised in Durham, North Carolina, she earned her bachelor’s degree in chemistry from Randolph-Macon College and a second bachelor’s degree in physician assistant studies from Methodist University. She later completed her Master of Physician Assistant Studies at the University of Nebraska.
Robin has practiced in several specialties, including family medicine, emergency medicine, urgent care, surgery, and dermatology, with a decade of surgical experience. Most recently, she helped establish and grow a successful dermatology clinic in California before returning to North Carolina to care for patients in North Wilkesboro and surrounding communities.

Robin is passionate about patient education and shared decision-making. She is a member of the Society of Dermatology Physician Assistants (SDPA) and the American Academy of Physician Assistants (AAPA). In her free time, she enjoys attending sporting events, watching college basketball, playing golf, traveling, and spending time with her husband.
