Martha L. Wilson

Dr. Martha L. Wilson joined the Skin Surgery Center in August of 2015 after a long career as a solo practitioner in the fields of pediatric and adult dermatology and surgical dermatology.
Dr. Wilson earned her medical degree from the Medical College of Georgia School of Medicine in Augusta. She completed a residency in Internal Medicine at Strong Memorial Hospital in Rochester, N.Y., and a residency in Dermatology at Mount Sinai Medical Center of Florida in Miami Beach. Dr. Wilson is Board-certified in Internal Medicine and Dermatology.
Previously, Dr. Wilson spent the last 13 years providing dermatology care for the residents of the underserved area of Southwestern Virginia. Before this effort, she ran a thriving solo practice in Coral Springs, Fla., for 20 years. While she practiced in Virginia, she worked closely with the physicians at The Skin Surgery Center through referrals of her Virginia patients for skin cancer surgery. She aims to continue to serve in the region of Southwest Virginia, as well as to work with the physicians at The Skin Surgery Center’s Galax office.
Dr. Wilson is a Fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology and holds membership in the American Medical Association and the Medical Society of Virginia.
