David Patterson, PA-C attended Indiana University of Pennsylvania and completed a Bachelor of Science degree at Southern Illinois University in Healthcare Management. He earned this degree while enlisted in the United States Navy. David proudly served as Hospital Corpsman for nearly five years. During his enlistment he first realized his goal to become a healthcare provider. After being honorably discharged, he furthered his education at Duquesne University, obtaining a Master of Physician Assistant Studies.

He is certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants, and is licensed through the states of Pennsylvania, North Dakota and North Carolina. He is a member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants, Pennsylvania Society of Physician Assistants, the North Carolina Academy of Physician Assistants, and the Society of Dermatology Physician Assistants.

David has been working in the field of dermatology since graduating in 1998. His passion for dermatology ignited during his dermatology electives while in PA school at private dermatology practice in Pittsburgh. Following graduation that same practice hired David for which he worked for 22 years.

David enjoys working as a team with his staff in order to provide the utmost care to the patients. He enjoys all aspects of general dermatology including educating patients of all ages on the importance of skin protection. David treats patients of all ages.
