Dr. Daniel Pearce joined The Skin Surgery Center in 2015 as a fellowship-trained Mohs surgeon serving patients at our Winston-Salem office. He is double board-certified in Dermatology and Micrographic Dermatologic Surgery and is a Fellow of the American College of Mohs Surgery. His clinical focus includes skin cancer and Mohs micrographic surgery.

Previously, Dr. Pearce performed Mohs surgery and served on the teaching staff at Wake Forest School of Medicine, where he received multiple faculty teaching awards.

He earned his medical degree from Wake Forest University School of Medicine and graduated from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. He completed his internship, Dermatology residency, and fellowship in Micrographic Surgery and Dermatologic Oncology at Wake Forest School of Medicine.

Dr. Pearce has published numerous articles on psoriasis, dermatitis, dermatologic surgery, healthcare economics, and the delivery of care. He also lectures on skin cancer diagnosis and treatment, including melanoma, and healthcare utilization.
