Andrew Krispinsky, MD

Andrew Krispinsky, MD, is a board-certified dermatologist and dermatopathologist who grew up in Dallas, Texas. He completed his undergraduate and medical training at Saint Louis University in St. Louis, Missouri. Dr. Krispinsky joined the United States Navy after being awarded the Health Professions Scholarship. Following his internship at Naval Medical Center Portsmouth in Portsmouth, Virginia, he served as Senior Medical Officer aboard the USS Gunston Hall and at Medical Readiness Division Norfolk.

Upon completion of his service, Dr. Krispinsky moved to Columbus, Ohio, for a two-year Clinical Dermatology Research Fellowship at The Ohio State University, where he served as a sub-investigator on numerous clinical trials for atopic dermatitis, psoriasis, alopecia areata, and hidradenitis suppurativa. He remained at Ohio State to complete both his dermatology residency and his dermatopathology fellowship.

Dr. Krispinsky believes in a collaborative and transparent approach to patient care, integrating each patient’s goals with the most advanced dermatologic treatments available. He lives in Haywood County with his wife and two daughters and loves everything Western North Carolina has to offer. In his free time, he enjoys hiking, gardening, learning about wine, trying new restaurants, and cheering on the Dallas Cowboys.
