Dr. Debra Liu joined the Skin Surgery Center in August of 2016 and serves our second Winston-Salem office, also known as Triad Dermatology, where she has practiced since 1987.
For more than 20 years, Dr. Liu and her skilled staff have maintained the highest standards of care in a friendly, relaxed environment. As one of the most experienced dermatologists in Winston-Salem, Dr. Liu works closely with patients and their referring physicians to accurately diagnose and effectively treat a wide range of conditions.
In addition to private practice, Dr. Liu remains on the forefront of promising medical breakthroughs by participating in clinical investigations. Currently, she is spearheading new therapeutic treatments for psoriasis, eczema and acne.
Dr. Liu earned her medical degree from the University of Washington School of Medicine. She completed residencies in Dermatology and Internal Medicine at the University of North Carolina Hospitals and at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics, respectively. She is a Phi Beta Kappa graduate of Mills College with a B.A. in Biology. Dr. Liu is Board-certified in both Dermatology and Internal Medicine.
Dr. Liu is a Fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology and the American Academy of Internal Medicine. Additionally, she is a member of the Forsyth-Stokes-Davie County Medical Society, the Society of Pediatric Dermatology and the National Psoriasis Foundation.
