Dr. Daniel Pearce joined The Skin Surgery Center in 2015 as a Fellowship-trained Mohs surgeon and serves both our Winston-Salem and Greensboro offices. He has a clinical focus on patients with skin cancer and Mohs micrographic surgery and is a Fellow of the American College of Mohs Surgery. Previously, Dr. Pearce performed Mohs surgery and was a member of the teaching staff at the Wake Forest School of Medicine in Winston-Salem, N.C., where he was the recipient of multiple faculty teaching awards.

Dr. Pearce earned his medical degree from Wake Forest University School of Medicine and is a graduate of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. He completed an internship in Internal Medicine, a residency in Dermatology (where he served as chief resident in his final year), and a fellowship in Micrographic Surgery & Dermatologic Oncology (Mohs surgery) at Wake Forest School of Medicine.

As a Board-certified Dermatologist, Dr. Pearce has published numerous articles relating to psoriasis, dermatitis and dermatologic surgery. Other research efforts are largely focused on healthcare economics and the delivery of care. He often presents lectures on the diagnosis and management of skin cancer, including melanoma, as well as healthcare utilization.
